An email comment from Chris Craggs of McFarlane Telfer Ltd in response to the site visits by AMW Health & Safety Services Ltd, where an audit was carried out on working practices and the way Lead Engineers carried out inspections – “I thought it went really well – as I said, I believe at the end of our long day’s work, the buy-in to H & S, the awareness, the positive view, was significantly better than it was before we started”.
“And that’s the acid test”.
Cheers

+1 #16 Isobel Howard 2011-06-06 17:21
My name is Isobel Howard and I am one of the founders and a Trustee of a local charity called The Wayne Howard Trust, set up to give advice and support to people with acquired brain injury and their relatives - www.thewaynehowardtrust.co.uk

At the end of last year, our Charity had a requirement to have an independent fire risk assessment carried out at our Charity Shop. Having recently met Andy, I contacted him for advice. He not only gave us copious amounts of advice, but went on to action the assessment himself completely free of charge.

We are extremely grateful to Andy, for his professionalism , honesty, and caring heart.

We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending AMW to anyone.

Part 1 of 2 Testimonial R Hawkes

I am very pleased to confirm that Andrew Wood has acted as an official
representative for Sense on three separate overseas challenge events. Each of these events (two in Nepal and one in Alaska) involved a large group of individuals undertaking a demanding outdoors challenge so as to raise money for Sense, the national charity working with deafblind people.

Part 2 of 2 Testimonial R Hawkes

The role of a representative can be extremely demanding as it involves offering constant moral support to all of the participants, whilst also being responsible for the overall health and safety of the group. This involves maintaining an overview of all relevant health and safety issues, ensuring a knowledge of each individual's specific
needs, liaising with local guides and generally ensuring that all health and safety issues, for each individual and for the group overall, are properly considered at all times. Andrew has always performed this role excellently. I would be happy to provide further information about this if required.
